So what’s up everyone?
Things have been really crazy over the past few months. I’ve been super busy with contests and photo shoots and more.
First of all I want to say congrats to Rusty for taking first at worlds, also Aaron Rathy who was a close second. I had a great time at worlds unfortunately I was a little burned out as it was the end of the year and didn’t do as well as I hoped. Not to worry there is always next year.
After worlds we were all getting ready for surf expo and Redbull’s wakelab. Surf expo went well I spent most of my time there in the Ronix booth, helping talk shop with all the dealers about our new line of boards. Things are looking great for 2009 and if you haven’t seen our new line of boards be sure to check out ronixwake.com for more info. Then came wakelab, an incredible truly awesome event put on by Redbull. I can’t express how glad I was to be apart of this event. If you haven’t heard about it by now we basically built a floating skate park for wakeboarding, picked the top 15 wakeboarders in the world and had the biggest blow out rail jam/contest that has ever been done. Thank you so much to Redbull for supporting this because we truly changed the sport of wakeboarding and took it to a level that will help our spot grow and grow.
Now I can take a little break from the hectic life we as wakeboarders live, its coming into winter and much is slowing down. The water is cooling and the days spent on the lake are getting shorter. All I can say is grab a full suit or even a dry suit and spend as much time as possible doing what you love.
Hope you all have a great winter and I will be in touch soon.
As always

After nationals Ronix had a photo/video shoot lined up for us at Radar Lake. The guys who were there were danny Harf, chad Sharpe, Parks Bonifay and myself. We had a few new rails built and were filming for Parks' documentary. We also got to check out the new 09 line of boards from Ronix, I am so pumped on all the graphics and new boards. The new boots are all crazy light and super sick looking. Chad has a new board this year called the Viva which was a really fun ride. Parks and Dannys board have a few changes for this year along with new graphics. As for my board, the Mana, its the same shape with a clean new look. I couldn't be happier.
From there we all went up to the Malibu team challenge. A contest where all the top board teams compete in 3 different areas of the sport, for the overall title. From our team Danny ended up winning the double up part of the event with a toeside backside 720, Team Ronix ended up coming in second place at the end of the day. It was a really fun event and we all can't wait to go back next year and go for the win.
I am now back at home getting ready for the world championships, surf expo and WAKELAB. A rail event which Red Bull is hosting In downtown Orlando on Lake Eola. This is going to be the most insane, biggest, and best rail jam/event/contest/party that there has ever been! So if you're not there then you will miss out big time.
Well thats it for now ill be in touch soon.
Thanks for reading

So here I am finally home after almost two months of solid traveling. I've been to all of the Pro Tour competitions, Masters, the Tige Pro Am, Lake Powell Brostock, and UK Wakestock. Not to mention all of the photoshoots and filming in between. Some of the places I've been to this year in the U.S. are: Acworth (GA), Callaway Gardens (GA), Phoenix (AZ), Reno (NV), Dallas Ft. Worth (TX), Twin Cities (MN), Portland (OR), Snake River (Wash.), Lake Powell (AZ), and Key West. It's been great traveling with my fellow team mates and friends. We've had lots of fun and met some amazing people along the way. I hope you managed to come to at least one of the contests - they were a blast on and off the water. If you didn't make it, you missed out on some insane riding!
I want to congratulate my buddies Phillip Soven and Jimmy LaRiche for winning the Pro Tour titles in Pro Men and Jr. Men respectively. And a huge congrats to OWC's own Nicola Butler for winning the Pro Women title! As you can imagine, I'm stoked to walk away with 4th place my second year pro. I followed three incredible riders, Phillip Soven, J.D. Webb and Rusty Malinowski.
Between two of the stops, Alliance Wakeboard Magazine flew Aaron Rathy and myself over to the United Kingdom for a photoshoot and to ride in Wakestock. Wakestock is also home to a huge music festival featuring the U.K.'s top pop artists Duffy and The Streets. I had the time of my life, everyone was super nice. Despite bad weather, I took the title! I can't wait to go back next year! Straight from Wakestock, Garrett Cortese from Alliance and I flew to Newfoundland to join Parks Bonifay and Josh Sanders. Redbull had planned another unique photoshoot - this time we were jibing icebergs. I cannot tell you how amazing it was. I definitely needed a drysuit though - luckily, Bill Porter from Performance came to the rescue and hooked me up with a drysuit, gloves and booties. Check out pictures on Redbull.com it's featured under "wakeberg."
I also got hooked up with a new sponsor - Nike 6.0 - they have a great team of up and coming riders and I'm proud to be part of it!
Anyway, I'm home for about a week so catch me at the cable!

Hey everyone what’s up?
Well it’s that time of year again, the contests have officially started. I’m sure most of you all know the first one was a few weeks ago at owc, it was super fun and im glad that it was here in Orlando.
I ended up coming in 3rd so I was real happy, it was a great way to start the year. It was great to see owc local Nicola Butler take 1st in the woman’s division.
My trip to panama was great, Parks and I put on a wakeboard show during the Red Bull Air Race, which was insane. We then had a few days to kill so we went over to the Caribbean side to do some surfing and filming for Parks’s documentary. It was really fun and we got a lot of good stuff on tape.
Since Parks and I had a few days at home, we decided to get certified to skydive. Red Bull hooked us up with the right guys and we got it done. It’s seriously one of the craziest things you could possibly do. I think we’re up to about 12 solo jumps now and we’re going to be jumping as much as possible.
Tige just hooked me up with my new boat for this year and it’s so sic! Can’t wait to put some hours on it.
Keep checking back to see what we’ll be up to next
Laterrr.
