Hey everyone, hope you all had a good summer!

I can’t believe how fast it’s come and gone. I’ve been so busy this season! I feel like I didn’t even get a chance to sit and enjoy the summer ha-ha. However, it’s officially our off-season and I have been home for a while now. Fall in Orlando is the best, the weather has been so nice the past few weeks and I have been thoroughly enjoying it.

The end of my contest season was a bit of a roller-coaster. I went straight from the World Series event in Wales, where we had crazy bad conditions, to the Fox “Wake the Dead Tour.” It was great to catch up with the Fox boys and tour around the Midwest riding and doing signings. Following that, we all packed up and headed out to Bull Shoals lake for Brostock. Bull Shoals was a new location for us and I’m pretty sure everyone was extremely happy with the conditions and the way the event was run. We had a huge turnout and everyone partied down! After a long day of hitting double ups I ended up coming in 3rd, which I was very happy about.

Next on the contest list was US Nationals. I was really eager and excited for this event because I was the defending champion, and didn’t want anyone to take that title from me. Unfortunately, I suffered a badly sprained thumb playing dodge-ball with the Fox team the night before competition. As lame as that sounds, I was actually pretty hurt and struggled to ride in the event… Oh well, there is always next year!

After Nationals, I went to “Redbull fun camp”! Parks Bonifay, JD Webb and myself met up with Redbull athletes from around the country and had a few days of extreme summer camp. We did everything from skydiving, to back flipping dirt bikes, helicopter base jumps to one of the worlds biggest slip and slides. It was so nice to get away and have some fun.

Following that it was time for all the boys at Ronix Wakeboards to do our annual trip up to our favorite spot - Radar Lake. This is something I look forward to all year! Not only because I get to ride with the best of the best: Danny, Chad, Parks, Erik, and Dean, but I also get to sit and chat with the dealers. We discussed and went over all of the new product for 2011.
This year was special because it was based around “DEFY” Danny Harf’s new movie from BFY productions scheduled to release in the spring of 2011. We had an awesome time building rails, doing heli shoots and camping. Not to mention some late nights bonfires with some of the most legendary and respected people in our industry. For me, this is what Ronix is all about.

After Radar, I hit the road with one of our Ronix dealers to do on-water clinics: the “5 Gallons of Freedom Tour”. We toured around Tennessee showing our new 2011 line and also doing some coaching and riding. It's always fun for me to get on the water with kids and give back to the sport, not to mention we see some amazing lakes and usually get really good riding in.
For me the year kind of slowed down a bit after that, we had a few more events like the Worlds at OWC, which is the best place to have an event and end the year.

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time at OWC riding the cable. Check out this fun video that Patrick Wieland shot a couple of weeks ago of Jimmy Lariche and me at OWC: http://www.alliancewake.com/wake/jimdam/ It has been nice to take a little break from the boat and get on the cable and hit some rails.

That’s it for now check in soon to see what I’m up to. It’s the off-season so you can catch me out at OWC a bunch!
