WINTER

Hey everyone, I can't believe how cold it is outside, the water is freezing! I feel like winter came out of nowhere, it was in the 20's last week here in Orlando.

Just wanted to catch you up on what I've been doing lately during the fall and beginning of winter. At the end of October I had the chance to go on a really great trip to the new Woodward facility in Copper Mountain Colorado. They have a huge gym room with all kinds of trampolines, foam pits and pads. Also a huge "snoflex" roll in kicker into a foam pit for trying tricks on a snowboard without the risk of injury. I had a blast up there training, and playing around for a few days and can't wait to go back.

After Woodward, myself, Jimmy LaRiche and Kevin Henshaw all went out to an event in Washington, called "Evening With The Stars". We got to hang out at the local board shop, Active Watersports, and chat with kids, give out some free product and sign some autographs.

Next I was off on Redbull's Winch Assaults trip, we had been planning a winch trip for a while now and finally got to act on it.
The whole team flew out to Nashville, Tennessee to start off our trip. The goal was to cruise down the south east to our main event "Redbull Wake Of Fame" in Ft. Lauderdale, while stopping at spots to winch along the way. Everything turned out great and be sure to keep a look out for videos on our trip because we got some really good stuff.

As for Wake Of Fame, I was so happy to be apart of this, it was truly a one of a kind event. Redbull along with Sesitec and Pat Panakos came out with an insane course, and put it right in the middle of 3 olympic-sized swimming pools at the swimming hall of fame. We all got to session it for a bit and then the contest was on! I unfortunately got knocked out of the contest in the early rounds, but still had a blast watching all the action go down.

Stay warm this winter!
