It seems like it's 1080 madness in the Orlando area! Shortly after Harf and Malinoski landed their 1080s behind the boat, the first documented 1080 was landed on the cable on Sunday, October 15th at the first stop of the 4th Annual Slider Spectacular Series, presented by OWC and Wakeboarding Magazine.
Adam Errington and Jason Soven, both OWC team members, have been crownded the undisputed winners in their division. Adam has won both the WWA and USA Wakeboard national titles along with the Rip It JX Series Championship of the Pro Wakeboard Tour. Jason Soven, the youngest of the Sovens, also won titles at both WWA and USA Wakeboard Nationals.
Congratulations goes out to OWC team rider, Adam Errington, for winning the Rip It JX Series Championship. Adam has placed either 1st or 2nd at each tour stop except for the last one where he placed 5th. He accumulated enough points to win the series championship, edging out his good friend, Jimmy Lariche.

We've been watching these two battle it out for the last couple of years, whether it was in a slider contest or in the junior x series of the pro wakeboard tour. Look out next year as we might see these guys moving on to pro status.

Adam is currently on the cover of the October issue of Wakeboarding Magazine sporting a new wakeboard from the long awaited company, Ronix.
Adam Errington and Jason Soven were two of 13 riders to capture national titles at the seventh annual Malibu USA Wakeboard Nationals, July 21-23, at Lake Agnes at Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, Fla.
Pro cable and boat rider, Keith Lidberg, makes the cover of the June issue of Wakeboarding Magazine. This will be the second time Keith has been on the cover. What's so special about it this time? Look at the blue towers and notice there is no wake! That's right, this shot was taken on the cable at OWC!

This is only the second time a cable shot has been on the cover of the magazine. The first was back in the late 90's when Shannon Best was still wakeboarding.

If you're a WBM subscriber, you'll get the June issue around April 22nd. It won't hit the newsstands till the second week of May.

Congratulations Keith!
