The weather was gorgeous Friday and Saturday but the wind picked up on Sunday for finals. On Sunday, the water was so choppy that the riders had trouble holding on! The sliders rocked back and forth making it hard for even the best riders to hit them. However, the day proved a success for local OWC riders Robert Soven, Adam Errington and Heather Johnson. Robert Soven won the boys division, Adam Errington took first place in the Jr. Men division, and Heather Johnson walked away with 1st place in her first Pro Women tournament. Soven beat out another local rider Julian Cohen with a perfectly planned out pass. Errington edged out Austin Hair with a stand up pass and his ever aggressive approach to both wake tricks and the sliders. Adam proved himself to be among the best on sliders Saturday when he became the first person to Ollie up onto the top rail of the funbox in competition. Heather Johnson shocked everyone Sunday when she beat out National Champion Dallas Friday! She was the first rider off the dock but slid the A-frame and flat rail perfectly.

Congratulations Robert, Julian, Adam and Heather!!!
