The 9^th Annual Slider Spectacular  was a hit!  With over 60 riders and a dozen sponsors, Orlando Watersports Complex is proud to keep our annual event growing!   With 8 competitive divisions, there was a great display of sportsmanship along with a competitive edge that keeps our community of cable riders pushing the progression of the sport.   A big thanks to all our sponsors and especially our riders that made this possible and we look forward to next year’s Slider Spectacular 10^th Anniversary!

OWC is excited to present our official Points Championships Team Video! Many thanks to all of our sponsors and especially John Lipscomb for putting the video together and supporting Team OWC all weekend. Congrats to John Dreiling, Brian Lantigua, Christopher Azuaje, Brian Robbins, Pete Kuhlman and last but not least, Julian Cohen for their wins and podium spots!

John, Brian and Chris dominated the beginner division and made it an all OWC podium for us! Brian & Pete took 2nd & 3rd place in the wake ski division which was one by Dan Olson. Our one and only Julian Cohen took 3rd place in the pro division, allong side TSR's Tom Fooshee (#1) and McCormick's Billy Parker (#2).

Performance Ski & Surf of Orlando brings you the 2011 Gravel Tour. With four dates in the books, there are only two more events left. Stop #5 will happen on September 17th. All Events are held at the Orlando Watersports Complex and pulled by Nautique Boats by Correct Craft.

Don't miss the inaugural Surf Expo Demo Day on Wednesday, September 7 at the Orlando Watersports Complex. Providing exhibitors with invaluable face time with key retailers in a hands-on atmosphere, the Surf Expo Demo Day will cater to wakeboarding, kiteboarding, and SUP exhibitors and buyers. Held the day before the Surf Expo September shows starts, the demo will run from noon until 6:00 pm. Retailers will be able to meet with representatives, demo new boards, paddles and equipment, to try it before they buy it. Also look for SUP sprint races and other on water activities.

Attention all qualified riders for the Cable National Points Championships in Tampa next month: we have another scheduled shoot for our Team OWC video tomorrow the 30th from 4PM-CLOSE! Our photog/videographers John Lipscomb and Andy Worrall will be here to get in good shots of every rider individually as well as team shots. This is our third and final video so make sure you can be here for it! 

The Good Vibes Tour was a huge success in Texas and now it's time to bring it to Florida! We are bringing our VERY BEST park riders. Gabe Lucas, Clay Fletcher, Andrew Adkison and Kaesen Suyderhoud will all be available for riding tips, demo sessions and to bring the overall GOOD VIBE to each event.
