We have a new kicker on the small cable lake. The kicker has quite the "boot" to it and is very well suited for flip trips. You hardly have to edge into it and it will launch you straight up! It sits on the inside (left) of the cable, across from the big white kicker. We also have some photos of our current layout of the obstacles on the cable.

We'd like to congratulate Michael Kingery for coming up with the winning logo idea. Michael was awarded a $1000 for his efforts. We recently added a new bi-level slider on the small cable. It's a flat ramp with a rail going up the right side. It sits on the right side of the cable (for you goofy riders) in front of the table, which is on the first long stretch after you leave the dock. We don't have a name for the new slider yet so send us some suggestions and we'll put up a poll for everyone to vote!

A few times a year we like to change things up and rearrange the obstacles. It makes some people happy and others sad, but it keeps things fresh and exciting. It's a great way to practice your switch riding and learn new tricks. You will only become a better rider!

This year we're only having one stop for the Slider Spectacular instead of 3. We're having one big blowout event! Last year we saw Robin Friday land the first 1080 off the big white kicker. Will we see a repeat attempt this year?

Conditions were perfect at the Orlando Watersports Complex today for cable riding during the final event of the 2007 Toe Jam wakeskate series, The Byerly Toe Jam presented by O'Neill.

The first King of Wake competition was held at OWC and went off with a huge bang! OWC had team riders in multiple divisions: Pro Men, Pro Women, Jr.Men, and Jr.Boys.

OWC team riders, Phillip Soven and Adam Errington placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively, at the 2007 Board Up Miami contest. This is Errington's first pro event and to make podium just confirms his place at the pro level.
