The third and final night of Relentless Wakestock was truly one to remember. Huge excitement had surrounded the return of Duffy to the area and she didn’t disappoint her home fans by pulling off an amazing set that made the crowd go wild. She was joined by The Streets who got the crowd jumping. Zane Lowe tent was going off as the fans celebrated an amazing weekend of extreme sports and a huge party.

The winner of the Pro Men's competition and the title of Relentless Wakestock Abersoch Champion 2008 was announced in front of a huge crowd gathered around the main outdoor stage. It was decided that the 2008 title should go to Adam Errington. He just pipped Aaron Rathy to the top spot and Danny Tholander came away with third as well as winning the Big Air contest that took place on Friday night. The women's title was a close affair with Jules Haley just sneaking in front of Kath Moore and third place went to Jess Hilbery.

The Pool Gap up on the festival site is quite a spectacle and it provided the perfect showcase for the Vans Rococo Rail Tour, which brought all of the excitement of wakeboarding to the festival site in the form of battle for the best trick across the rails to see who would go away with the top spot. It was taken in the end by Aaron Rathy, who made sure that the title was his after a fierce battle in front of the crowds with Lee Debuse who came in second. So as the tents come down, the stage is dismantled and the festival goers make their way home, Relentless Wakestock Abersoch draws to a close for another year. We hope that you have enjoyed it…roll on 2009!
