ORLANDO, FLA - Yesterday, the Nautique Asian Waterski & Wakeboard Championships concluded in Putrajaya, Malaysia breaking two National records while many athletes achieved personal bests.

Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah, the youngest tournament competitor set a new Malaysian National record and won the gold in under 17 Tricks event. Japan’s Saaya Hirosawa also set an Asian Championship Jump record over the weekend. The Nautique Asian Waterski and Wakeboard Championships were exclusively towed by the world record breaking Ski Nautique 200 and the Super Air Nautique 210.
“The organizers and athletes were very pleased with the performance of the new Super Air Nautique 210 and Ski Nautique 200,” commented Hanifah Yoong, event organizer. “Many personal bests have been achieved plus there were two national records broken behind the Ski Nautique 200,” added Yoong.
“This was a great event and all of the competitors enjoyed performing behind Nautique boats,” stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “It is truly an honor to support the growth of watersports not only in Asia, but globally,” added Yeargin.
