Each and every year the TSR FreezeRide seems to get better and better. Sure, as always, Saturday was cold and rainy, but a beautiful Sunday more than made up for it! The cable riders braved the frigid conditions on Saturday, but the boat competitions were postponed until Sunday, which gave us more time for the Texas Holdem Tournament that had 64 competitors fighting for cash and prizes.

Tom Fooshee Takes Cowtown Cup Wakeboard Rail Jam

Fort Worth, TX - A dozen of the top wakeboarders and wakeskaters in the state gathered at the Fort Worth Convention Center last weekend to compete in the Cowtown Cup Wakeboard Rail Jam. It all took place during the 53rd Annual Fort Worth Boat and Sport Show presented by Thornhill Nissan. It was the third year in a row that an indoor rail jam was featured at the show, but the first time that it was a full-blown competition. The boat show put up a $1,000 purse and all of the rail jam sponsors matched it to bring the total haul to $2000!

New Braunfels, TX – On February 16th & 17th Texas Ski Ranch will kick off the 2008 season with the 5th annual TSR FreezeRide event. The event will consist of Wakeboard/Wakeskate tournaments on both the TSR Cable lake and boat lake. For some, FreezeRide gives riders from all over the country a chance to get back on the water and try to regain the form they had at the end of 2007. For others, it is a chance to showcase the new skills they have been working on during the frigid winter months. Either way FreezeRide is just a great excuse to get together to ride for the first time in 2008.

The Order of Merit is awarded at the discretion of the Executive Board of the International Water Ski Federation to individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the sport of water skiing which do not fall within the guidelines for the Hall of Fame. Correct Craft Employees Finish Development Program

Orlando, FLA — Correct Craft, Inc. announced that the first 14 employees have completed a new extensive voluntary employee development program.

The Correct Craft employees started this program on September 8, 2007 and finished it on October 12, 2007. During those six weeks, employees attended classes designed to improve their skills spending time in each phase of the boat building process. They also spent considerable time learning about the importance of quality. The course content was developed and taught by leaders on the Correct Craft team.
