"WOW" Western Oasis Wakeplace is proud to announce the opening of the first cable wakeboard and ski lakes on the west coast.
 
WOW, previously known as Ski Oasis water ski lakes in Minden, Nevada, has four Sesitec System 2.0 cable wakeboard and ski systems. Future plans include building a new lake with a six tower cable system capable of handling ten wakeboarders at one time.

Cable systems have only been seen in the Eastern parts of the United States and are very popular in Europe. WOW will be the first cable lake in the west coast. Even with today’s hard economic times, WOW’s cable system offers affordability for all to enjoy wakeboarding, tubing and skiing. The 2.0 system is not only a great tool for teaching beginners, but is also used and recommended by pros for improving skills and learning new tricks.
 
Wow is offering a 5-day camp and also a 2-day camp, including lessons, accommodations and meals for ages 9 and above. It’s a great way for beginners to learn and experienced riders to improve their skills.
